Excursion to developing country

Excursion to developing country

I had the idea of an excursion with the Development Economics course, but due to low participation in the course, organizational issues and short time for planning, it seems unrealistic. Nevertheless, it may can take place in another course, e.g. Macroeconomics in practice in summer semester (?) It would be a great opportunity for learning in practice, not only theory!

Points

One-week excursion as part of the PPE studies in summer semester or next winter semester. After seeing so many examples of economics/development in class, it would be great to blend theoretical knowledge with real-world insights and hands-on learning experiences. An excursion can be incredibly beneficial for PPE students. Through immersive experiences and direct engagement, students will gain a deeper understanding of the economic, political, and social factors of a country.
